Welcome!
Here we are! You have joined me at this moment in your life and mine.
I ended up here because, years ago, I embarked on a journey to find myself and a world where I could be myself. The literal and figurative journey took me through a few academic adventures (two master’s, one in English literature, another in psychology, and a certificate in English teaching), career experiments ranging from office work to being a cabin crew, and living on three different continents.
In all of these adventures, I have always been most interested in knowing myself. This is how I came to know the world that shaped me. We are biological clusters of neurons and genes that have been molded into bundles of hopes, dreams, aspirations, and fears, rages, upset and inhibitions by our environment from day one. On top of it all, we are thrown into a world of classism, racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, gun violence, wars and invasions and genocides that disrupt our sense of self on this big blue planet, which may also be in need of imminent life support.
Navigating life in its intersectionality is tough. Many of us are familiar with that feeling of “stuckness,” where nothing we know about ourselves or the world that ought to make sense. I believe a therapist who knows what it is like to be in that position can help you feel “unstuck,” by holding space for you and reminding you that you are not alone and that you don’t have to go through it alone. You can tell me what it’s like, and we can go through it together.
